They Live - A 1988 Movie on Economic Depression

It seems like every 20 years we have a new economic issue. Apparently, somebody is not doing something right. Even with new technologies, there should be a stable system in place for the benefit of all. Oh but that's only in a perfect, Utopia of a world, which as a whole, we do not live in. We definitely can prosper individually by gaining knowledge and putting it to action, but could the entire economic system completely crash to the point of having the entire middle class wiped out? Absolutely! It won't matter how much money you have in the end, there is a cap coming really soon. In my last blog about finance, I advised people to look up the term "Martial Law." This has got to be one of the most nerve wrecking. disturbing terms in existence. Remember WWI and WWII... how cold you forget. Some of us weren't even thought of yet, and some of us actually fought in those wars. Do you know why they even started? I suggest going back to the Eustace Mullins footage I provided in my last finance blog. But during those wars and many others, the United State declared martial law on its citizens. But what is martial law?

Martial Law is "the imposition of military rule by military authorities over designated region(s) on an emergency basis—and often, but not necessarily, only temporarily—when the civilian government or civilian authorities fail to function effectively." Yet, what defines an emergency? And could a government declare martial law against its citizens without real justification? Yup they can and I most definitely believe they will.

Click this site for some more info, on Martial Law.

"They Live" by John Carpenter, was released in 1988. At that time, America's economic status was rough. The movie is hilariously cheesy, but the point was profound. The point of the movie is quite obvious, but I want you to take somethings into consideration. Are movies created to tell us something? or are they just for entertainment? Funny enough, we are going through the same issues as the characters of the movie and if some of us are not there yet, we will soon be. Enjoy the movie and use your head. Can and will it happen to us? Will martial law be declared? And what are we gonna do about it?

Consider it...
