BeetleJuice and the Skeletons in the Closet

How many of you remember BEETLEJUICE? I'm not talking about the 1988 movie with Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis and Michael Keaton. I'm talking about the animated series that used to come on the WB (Warner Bros.) As a kid, I used to watch it at my babysitters house and would die laughing at BJ's antics. Spongebob has NOTHING on Beetlejuice with his "adult" jokes hidden in kid humor.

Well, this past weekend I was at my bestie Val's house and she was torturing me by making me watch Pippi Longstocking. I now understand my friend a little better. =^P Val has this idea, perpetuated by me of course, that I had a horrible childhood. LOL it wasn't bad... it just wasn't a childhood. Sometimes I have a Michael Jackson complex and sing, "Have you seen my childhood?" Anyway, I digress! So Val decided she is going to give me one now. I guess better late then never. While torturing me with Pippi Longstocking, which we didn't get to finish, she wanted to see if I remembered BJ (ha ha still haven't said his name 3 times!)

I freaked out in excitement when I saw the intro and heard the theme song. In a weird way, BJ was a friend to all. A gross one, but a friend nonetheless. After a few episodes, I learned a great deal of morals and values. Who knew?! Interesting that a ghoul would teach me a lesson. I decided to download all the episodes and just enjoy myself. Man! He is crazy though. LOL

Anyway, yesterday, I watched an episode called Skeletons in The Closet. I don't want to tell you the story because I'm including the episode in the blog. But, here was the lesson I learned that shifted my perspective about myself and my circumstances in life. The skeletons in your closet will come out to haunt you and they will eventually tell the truth for you. If you don't want them to embarrass you later on, tell the truth today. Simple huh? You'd think we'd keep it in mind. We know that when we lie to someone, karma is a pain and some way, somehow, they are going to find out. A lie keeps you in bondage.

But then the lightbulb went off. BJ had to be honest, for once, but it was to himself whom he owed the truth. It made me think. How many of us are lying to ourselves on a daily basis? How many of us know deep down in our being who we are and are still allowing the mental lies to tell us differently? How many of us refuse to look at the lies that our own minds are creating about us like, "You're not good enough, " "You won't get that desire," or "Stop trying! You won't succeed anyway," and for the first time, stop the lies by telling ourselves THE TRUTH?!

To get out of the jam, BJ and Lydia had to admit the truth to themselves. Be like them and tell yourself the truth about yourself on a daily basis. And only you know what that is. A truth people reject is "You are already great...TODAY." You don't have to wait to be great tomorrow. Now some may say, "But I don't feel great today. My life doesn't seem so great if its suppose to be." Well, that is your task. It is already great but it is your duty to follow through in making the thoughts you have created in your mind to manifest in your life. If you can see it in your mind, you can make it happen in your material reality. You can do anything you want that will propel you to great heights because no one can stop you. If a voice in your head or outside of your head is telling you differently, it's lying to you. Lies start within and manifest out here in the material world. Even if you have obstacle in your way, it doesn't matter. The truth is, you can handle them. You were always able to handle your life and what you wanted to experience. Allowing other people's opinions of you or of themselves to project onto your life is a disservice to who you are.

Tell yourself the truth. Know yourself and work only with the truth you are, not the lies.

Ok I have to do it....

Beetlejuice...
Beetlejuice...
BEETLEJUICE!!!

Thank you BJ!

Enjoy the episode. The first episode is The Big Face Off and the second is Skeletons in the Closet! Let me know the lesson or insight you got from watching the funny, crazy, weirdo! =^D Smile

Welcome To The Rubet Enterprise

Welcome! We welcome you to The Rubet Enterprise site. We hope that you all have come to engage in some incredible knowledge and are willing to expand your mind. Here at The RE, we try our best to provide our readers with the opportunity to view things from different vantage points. Can you see things from more than one side, more than two, more than three? Hopefully, we will be able to bring you something new, useful and refreshing every week on the topics we are currently concentrating on, which are: Finance, Spirituality, Health & Wellness, Entertainment and a topic of our choice under the Whatever We Want tags located on the right side of this site. We also have a little project we do called "Project 365." Basically, we take a picture a day of something that made us laugh, cry, moved us in any way, and place it up on the site for you to see. Its a cool little thing to do and it helps anyone who creates their own, to hold on to awesome memories for times to come.

Soon we will be hosting a podcast/radio show that will be discussing current news, what we're thinking about, what you're thinking about, and how we can actively create and educate ourselves daily by building a network that is strong and prosperous. Have your had fun lately? Yes? Great! No? Why not? Let's start! Our mission is to get you to wake up to realities of this world that you many not see and show you what is hidden behind the veil. My team and I have worked diligently to provide you with choices that might have been taken away from you, without you even noticing.

We aim to please the deepest part of our existence. May we all grow, learn and expand our ways of thinking and being this upcoming year.

It's time for you to get to know yourself. It's time to live.
