HELL WEEK!!!

So it's been a while since I have updated my blog but we have some good news! October 3-7, 2011, HELL WEEK will begin from 6:30pm- 7:45pm. The event will consist of 5 days of grueling workouts that test your strength, endurance, mindset and all that is YOU! It is intended to break you down and build you up. This isn't for the faint of heart, and it shouldn't be.

Training your body is a mission. Giving up on yourself is not an option. Whether it rains or snows, we will be out there with the elements doing a program meant to completely transform you.

Here's the fun part: The first 10 people to sign up for this event will join for FREE! So start signing up!!! Once the 10 people freebie has been reach, the cost is $25 for the week. THAT'S A STEAL! That's $5 a day for 1hr 15mins of training. You can't beat that.

THINGS TO BRING:

A bottle of water.
You will HATE yourself if you don't have one.

A small towel.
You will be using this to lay on the floor or to wipe the sweat off your face.

Workout gloves.
These are for extra protection for your hands. It is highly recommended, but if you don't have any, the towel will work well enough.

These Hell Week is designed with one thing in mind. To Bring Out The Greatness From Within! The goal is to have you dig deep and put the true you out into the open. Most people have a lot more guts than they think they do. It's time to stop "thinking" and start DOING! You are EXCELLENCE UNFOLDING!!!

LOCATIONS:

Each day, we will be working out a different area of the body. Remember, this is a HELL WEEK. For those who don't know what a Hell Week is, google the United States Armed Forces to get a clue. Obviously, it will not be as intense as bootcamp for the forces, but its not shy either. We will be meeting at a different location daily. The first will be:

Day 1 • Upper body • Williamsburg Bridge - Brooklyn Side
Day 2 • Cardio • Brooklyn Bridge - Manhattan side
Day 3 • Core • TBA
Day 4 • Cardio • Brooklyn Bridge - Manhattan side
Day 5 • Legs • TBA

Do You Have What It Takes? • Boston Weekend • Day 7 P90X/TurboFire • Day 2 of Hell Week

Good Morning!!! I hope everyone has been having a great week! I know mine has been INTENSE! So let me play catch up here! First and foremost, I hope everyone has noticed the new tab "Become A Beachbody Coach" on this blog. Some people have been asking what it takes to be a coach and what they have to do. Under that tab, I will be putting up more information and my personal, "Why Beachbody?" reasons for becoming a coach. If you have decided you would like to be a coach, contact me and I will give you some specific information. Day 2-4 of P90X/TurboFire LET'S GO!!!

Good Saturday MORNING!!!

Okay, ok! I apologize for not writing for the last 2 days! Today is Day 4 for me and the workout is P90X's YOGA X. I love this workout!

Yoga is essential to any workout! Yoga has a deeper meaning then just stretching in weird ways. It hold a spiritual significance to those who practice it. The deep breathing, the deep stretching releases tension while training the mind to focus. The thoughts that are chaotic in the mind are silenced and allows the one practicing the art to finally be one with the deepest parts of him. All that is internal work, that is necessary to any goal, in fitness or life.

But on the OUTSIDE LOL, yoga teaches you to use your own weight and strength to sculpt the body into what it is meant to look like naturally. I have had amazing results with all different "types" of yoga. But don't get caught up with all the "different name" people place on this method of exercise. Yoga is stretching... keep it simple. Try it once in your life. If you have a moment with God... enjoy it and have fun! It might happen.
